Car Accident Attorney Josh B. Wages

As an attorney with Blasingame, Burch, Garrard & Ashley, P.C., Josh B. Wages has learned how to seamlessly transition from one case to the next, developing his legal skills as he helps his clients and their families to recover compensation for the harm they have suffered.

“We represent people who have been injured through the carelessness of others, from automobile wrecks to bad products to deficient medical care,” Josh says. “Of course, no two cases are the same. You are always learning something new. That’s what makes the practice of law a life-long learning process.”

Born in Gainesville, Georgia, on July 22, 1973, Josh was raised in Athens and earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Georgia. He was admitted to the Georgia bar in 1998.

He is competitive by nature, and he thrives in a courtroom setting. However, he also enjoys the quieter aspects of legal practice, such as researching technical issues and preparing briefs.

When he meets with clients, he makes it a point to explain their cases to them.

“Our civil justice system can be quite complicated, and there is much more to a successful legal case than simply having a valid claim that someone else has caused you some sort of harm,” Josh says.“

A good lawyer will help you to understand the nature of your claims, what it will take to pursue a case, describe the process, and counsel you regarding all aspects of your case – both the good and the bad.”

What Josh likes the most about being an attorney with Blasingame, Burch, Garrard & Ashley, P.C., is that no one in the firm is ever too busy to answer a client’s questions. The goal is to deliver the benefits of a larger firm without the “big-firm” drawbacks, he says.

“We have the experience and resources necessary to handle most any case, but we are small enough to operate with efficiency and to provide real value for our clients,” he says. “We are also small enough that if you need any one of us, you can just pick up the phone and call us.”

When Josh isn’t working, he enjoys spending time being “Daddy” to his two daughters, Sarah and Lucy, as well as cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs.
